St Patrick's Day Parade 2009 London

Tara's own refurbished Routemaster, RML 2679, took part again in the parade which has become a annual event since the parade was re-established in the middle of the last decade. A great effort was made to dress the bus up for the festival occasion and everyone taking part enjoyed the weather and the atmosphere on the streets of London.

The parade started at 12 noon and followed the route from Piccadilly (Park Lane side) on to Regent Street by Trafalgar Square and dispersed in Whitehall Place. Tara’s own “Grand Marshall” Eileen Joyce was very happy with this year’s event and is already looking forward to next year!
